No Memory of Past

“Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.”-Isaiah 54:4 ESV

The year has begun in rapid glory acceleration. Every time the Lord has something new for me I have to war against enemies of doubt and wondering if I will be successful? This is nothing short of enemy lies and attack. God says when I come into Jesus and His redemptive work I have an assurance that shame and disgrace is not a part of my inheritance.

God says you will NOT be disgraced; you will NOT be put to shame. This should lead me to NOT be confounded. To be confounded is to “cause surprise or confusion in (someone), especially by acting against their expectations.” The Lord God says you will not be confused by something that isn’t what you expect. What do I expect? What is my spiritual expectation? In Christ, I expect to come into all the promises of Israel. I expect to walk in healing, power, authority, and victory! God says you will NOT be confused because that will manifest.

The other part of this word is the shame of my youth and reproach of when I walked without Christ will be erased! By the blood of Jesus, all memory of unrighteousness and shame because of sin patterns is erased and no more. When the enemy brings accusation from my past I quickly began to command and order him to cease and desist in God’s authority. I know the accusation is illegal because I have brought my past under the blood of Jesus. It has been erased and I have been redeemed of all past condemnation. If there is a memory of sin and unrighteousness that is not my thought so I take it captive. It is not my thought because this word I will “remember no more.” So if I am remembering it after the blood work then it is an illegal thought of enemy, not me! My thoughts are of purity, truth, righteousness, holiness according to God’s word in Philippians 4:8.

Today stand on the Word of God in Ephesians 6 that says after having done all stand!! Stand on what? Stand fully dressed by the Word and righteousness of God. Keep standing and do not let the enemy fool you into aligning with his thoughts and patterns.
